"Dave" Thomas, unrelated to the fast-food magnate who founded the Wendy's Old-Fashioned Hamburgers chain of franchised restaurants, is a former SCTV cast member whose sketches as such included comedy partnerships with Rick Moranis, most notably in the "Great White North" sketches.
