The Shmenge Brothers, as whom the late John Candy and Eugene Levy were comedy partners, were a featured SCTV musical team.

Yosh and Stan Shmenge were two brothers, both of whom spoke heavily accented English, who originally hailed from the fictional country of Leutonia. They were well known musicians in Melonville, popular among the elder audience, and both played polka together as a duo.

A 1992 episode of Camp Candy, with guest star Eugene Levy, features the Shmenges performing at the Camp.
